SFU CLARIFICATION ON WINDING-UP ORDER

In relation to the winding-up order, a copy of which is pasted below, Darren Shaw, fans director of MTFC, from Stags Fans United, explains:

The winding up petition relates to Andy Perry trying to recover the £85,000 loan he made to the football club together with interest (around £92,000 in total). Andy Perry transferred the loan to his father, Derek Perry, who in turn transferred the loan to Minotaur Asset Finance Limited as consideration for ACP Electrical Solutions Limited buying the business of Parkinsons Electrical Ltd.
Minotaur Asset Finance Limited have agreed to try and obtain repayment of Andy Perry's loan to the football club. 50% of any sums collected over £20,000 (after reasonable costs) have to be paid by Minotaur to Derek Perry. The matter is being dealt with by the club's solicitors.
It must be made clear that none of the other former directors have asked for repayment of their loans.
