SFU AND MTFC SIGN DEAL.


SFU and MTFC today signed the deal to increase SFU's shareholding in the club.

Mansfield 103.2 are there LIVE for the agreement of a deal that sees Stags Fans United put £55,000 into the club for an increased stake in the Field Mill outfit and a Supporters Director put on the board. Listen here.

"Can I, on behalf of Stags Fans United, pass on our heartfelt thanks to all of those people who have supported us since our launch on the 4th June 2008. In those short months we have raised more than £40,000 which has gone into our club today to support the new owners.
The SSA donation and grouped donations from members of the OSSC and SFFC added to the donations from hundreds of other Stags fans have made this possible and we would like to thank every single person who has handed over money to the trust for their support.
We are now in the position where we can invest further monies in the club and so we are back in fundraising mode! We will be holding another Sportsmans' dinner (hopefully as successfully as the last) as well as holding other fund raising events.
We are looking to gain new members of the trust and have organised the facility to pay in monthly instalments to aid possible donors and would encourage who wishes to join or donate money to visit these pages:
