Stags Fans United would like to congratulate the
football club on re-introducing the Family Match Day Ticket for £40. This is a
great idea and a good deal and we hope the fans will make full use of it. We
hope that the club will also consider introducing a single family ticket (1
Adult plus Children). SFU are disappointed though that the football
club has decided to increase the match day ticket prices without consulting the
supporters. This was not discussed at the last two board meetings attended by
SFU in March and April. There may be good reasons for the price increase such
as the club needing to break even next season but the club does need to provide
a clear explanation. We have also urged the club to introduce online ticketing
before the start of the season so that all supporters can take advantage of the
pre-match prices.
